Asilah Travel Guide
Asilah is a small town in Northwest of Morocco facing the northern Atlantic Ocean. The charming and clean town is located 31 miles from the northern city of Tangier. The town was established by Phoenicians. It was occupied by the Portuguese during the 15 Century.
Asilah is known of its colors (white and blue) and its painting in walls by local and visited international artists.

What to See
- The ramparts: built by the Portuguese in the 15th century.
- Asilah International Festival (August of each year) also known as the art festival
- Local small traditional shops
