Riu Palace Tikida Agadir

Hotel Riu Palace Tikida Agadir, (All inclusive) beachfront resort of 444 rooms, is opening at the end of this month, March, 26th, 2012 at one of the most popular beach resort in Morocco Agadir Beach. 

Riu Palace Tikida Agadir highlights include its location separated from beach only by beachfront  promenade,  the hotel is surrounded by a lavish garden, and it has 2 swimming pools, an indoor pool, a gym and a Talasoterapia center  with massages, sauna, and a Moroccan Hammam. For sports fans Riu Tikida Agadir offers tennis courts, mini golf, badminton, bowls, dart, volleyball, soccer and aquatic gymnastics. Cuisine is represented by a buffet style and themed restaurants ("Krystal" Fusion Restaurant, Moroccan cuisine and Italian cuisine).

This hotel will be the sixth hotel for RIU Hotels & Resorts group in Morocco.

M. Marrache and M. Benabbés-Taarji, co-owners of the Tikida Group, assured that "we are very excited about this new opening, the sixth in our long-term partnership with RIU. We are sure that the hotel will be a success, specially counting on the support of the Government of Morocco who is strongly committed to develop the Tourism industry in the country through its strategic plan 'Vision 2020'."

Scott, Your blog bought back some nostalgic memories for me. When I go traveling, its all about the food and the memories that are triggered when I try and re-create a dish i stumbled upon on my travels(without much success).

It was just the other night that I was paging through my album, the photos depicting the utter chaos of the market streets and the beautiful colors on display. It was a visual spectacle. The food was a gastronomic spectacle. My personal favorite dish while visiting Morocco was the lamb tagine with dates. The tenderness of the lamb coupled with the sweetness of the dates was a mere delight and surprise to my palate. Thank you for helping me relive my Morocco experience.
